Taco Salad

Taco Salad for a group. This a favorite at my family and no one makes it better than my sister Priscilla. She is a great cook and is always search out and trying new recipes. You will find that many of mine came from her. This recipe can be made with two different types of dressing. In the Midwest you will be familiar with Dorthy Lynch, but in the south the make it with a Green dressing. (not sure what it is called - Will revise this when I remember)

Taco Salad

1 Bag Doritos Chips
1 Head Lettuce
1 Jar Dorthy Lunch Dressing
3 Cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese
1 Can Chili Beans
1 lb. Hamburger with Taco Seasoning Mix
1 Tomato Chopped

Brown Hamburger, add taco Seasoning Mix and let cool. Chop lettuce roughly and combine in a large bowl Dressing, Cheese, Chili Beans, tomato and chilled Taco Meat. When ready to serve break up chips and mix together well. Serve...Enjoy. (Doesn't not keep well in fridge - use when serving a crowd)
