Meatloaf

Although Meatloaf is humble food it still makes my Top 10 Favorite Meats. Through the years I have looked for a recipe that is easy to prepare and also taste like more than just a pile of beef in a blog. (Tasty word picture..isn't it) =) I have found that mixing turkey burger and hamburger yields a much less greasy meatloaf. So here is my recipe for meatloaf...and I would call it a work in progress.

Meatloaf

1 lb. Turkey Burger
1/2 lb. Hamburger
1 Tbsp. Beef Broth Powder
1 Pkg. Onion Soup Mix
2 Tbsp. Onion Flakes
1/2 Cup Crackers - Crushed
2 Eggs
1/2 Cup Ketchup
1 Tsp Worcestershire Sauce
Additional Ketchup for the top.

Mix all ingredients together and place in a Shallow Glass baking dish and cover top with ketchup. Bake for 45 min. at 350 degree oven or until your thermometer reads 170. In the last 10 min. of baking add additional ketchup if you are a baked ketchup lover like our family! Enjoy!
