Runza Casserole

In the mid-west there is a restaurant called "Runza". It is a great alternative to your regular burger joints, but it is not for everyone. With my German roots, this is right up my ally. I love it and since I now live in the south and there is no way of getting any of them here. This recipe is a compilation of several. Try it you may like it.

RUNZA Casserole

2 Can Crescent Rolls
2 lbs. Hamburger - Browned
1 Pkg. Dry Onion Soup Mix
1 Bag Shredded Cabbage
2 Cups Cheddar Cheese - Shredded

In a Greased 9x13 pan lay one can of Crescent rolls across the bottom. Make sure to pinch close all holes and push the sides up the side of the pan. Brown hamburger and add cabbage and onion soup mix. Cook until cabbage is softened. Pour Mixture on top of Crescent rolls. Add cheese to top and cover top with the second can of crescents. Bake at 350 for 30 min. Enjoy!
