I know it is not soup weather outside, but dumplings bridge the gap between. They are just plain GOOD!!! I don't normally make dumplings in the summer time, but on cool, rainy autumn days they hit the right spot.
Old Fashioned Dumplings
1 Egg
1/2 C. Milk
1 1/4 Butter, melted and cooled
1 Tsp. Salt
3 C. Flour
Stir together egg, milk butter and salt; add flour then chill. Roll this and slice into strips. Drop into a rolling boil pot of soup and ENJOY!
