Corn Chowder Soup


Corn Chowder is so delicious and perfect when you get fresh sweet corn from the garden. There is just something about it coming straight from the garden that makes it just taste better. There are not that many ways that you can make corn and so if you should find yourself with some extra corn and not know what to do with it.. Try this recipe.

Corn Chowder

4 Slices Bacon
2 T. Onion Diced
1 T. Celery, Diced
1 T. Peppers - Sweet
2 C. Corn
2 Potatoes, Diced
3 Tomatoes, Chopped (Optional)
2 Qt. Milk or 8 C.
Salt & Pepper to Taste
Parsley for garnish

Brown, bacon, onion, celery and pepper together until bacon is crisp. Add Corn and fry for 3 minutes. Add potatoes and tomatoes, cover and simmer for 30 Minutes. Add milk and heat to boiling, remove from heat and top with cheese and parsley.
