This is a break from the same old same old. And yes it is a favorite from yester year. Warning...when you open this salad up after chilling...the smell may be stout! LOL!
Pea Salad
1 16 oz. Bag Frozen Peas - Thawed
1 Cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
1/2 Cup Diced Celery
1/2 Cup Salad Dressing
1/4 Cup Chopped Onion
1 Tsp. Salt
4 Hard Boiled Eggs
Combine all ingredients and toss lightly. Cover and Chill until serving.
what kind of salad dressing? Like Miracle Whip? and do you know the pea salad from Bonanza, does this taste like that? I think theirs has canned peas, instead of frozen...
ReplyDeleteYes, this is Whipped Salad Dressing or Miracle whip...which ever you prefer. We are a salad dressing kind of family, but everyone is different. It has been a while since I ate there....so not sure if my memory serves me right, but I think that it is similar.
