Country Style Green Beans

You can't live in the south to long before you realize that if you were to serve your guest green beans, they better include some bacon grease. I myself prefer the just plain, butter and salt green beans, but that would be considered a crime in these parts and just the thought of eating them that way will bring a broad smile to many a grannies face. -It is just simple UNHEARD of...SO, when you can't beat them...Join them in your own way!

Country Style Green Beans

1 Large Can Green Beans or a Small bowl of Fresh - Drained
2 Cups Chicken Broth
2 Tbsp. Onion Flakes
1 Tbsp. Bacon Grease ---IF you must! (optional)=)
Pepper to taste

Combine is saucepan and simmer on low for 45 min. or until green beans are very soft. EAT, ENJOY! (I do really love them, and in fact this is the way that I make them most of the time.)
