Chuncky Pecan Pie Bars

Pecan season is upon us and so if you have a few extra just waiting around to get eaten, you should give this recipe a try.

Chunky Pecan Pie Bars

Crust:
1 1/2 C. Flour
1/2 C. Butter
1/4 C. Packed Brown Sugar
Filling:
3 Large Eggs
3/4 C. Corn Syrup
2 T. Butter
1 tsp. Vanilla
1 3/4 C. Chocolate Chip Chunks
1 1/2 C. Pecans, Chopped

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9x13 pan and prepare crust. Combine crust ingredients and press into pan and bake for 12-15 minutes or until it is lightly brown. For the Filling - combine all liquid ingredients and whisk together. Stir in the chocolate chunks and pecans. Pour evenly over crust and bake for 20-25 minutes or until set. Cool in pan, and cut and serve. ENJOY!
