This recipe is my sister Loretta's and it is tried and true. I have used it every year and it never fails me as long as you follow it to a tee. These are my very favorite cookie to dip in hot chocolate. They are perfect.
Peanut Butter Star Cookies
1 C. Brown Sugar
1 C. White Sugar
2 Eggs
1 C. Butter - Do not subsitute
1 C. Peanut Butter
2 C. Flour
2 Tsp. Baking Powder
Chocolate Stars for the top
In a Large mixing bowl combine together and roll into balls. Roll balls into white or colored sugars. If adding a Star do not make the cross fork pattern in the top. Bake at 325 for 10-11 Min. Makes about 3 Dozen.
