Sopapilla Bars

One thing that I love about recipes, is that each one has a story about how you aquited it and as you make it, it is bound to take a creative turn with your own flair. This recipe came from a friend that is a blessing to me and let's kindness flow so effortlessly.

Sopapilla Bars

2 Cans Cresent rolls
2 8 oz. Pkg. Cream Cheese
1 Cup Sugar
1 Tsp. Vanilla

Topping:
1/2 C. butter, melted
1 Tbl. ground cinnamon
1/2 C. Sugar

Heat the oven to 350 degrees. In a greased 9x13 inch pan roll out the first pkg. of Cresent Rolls. In medium bowl combine vanilla, sugar, and cream cheese. Mix until smooth. Pour over the cresents, and spread out as evenly as you can. Cover with the second pkg. of Cresent Rolls. Combine the melted butter, sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over the top. Bake at 350 for 25 to 30 minutes. Remove and let cool for a bit. Enjoy!
